Now if ever there was a sitcom to prove my point about "sex offender advocates" this one reigns supreme. Seems Gail Colletta's son decided he was going to "lower the bar" in his sexual experimentations and decided "Kids and infants" might do the trick. Obviously Alex, her son "not being the brightest bulb in the box googled one too many times for his perverted thrills and found himself on Law Enforcements radar.
So fast forward and now we find Gail (who started her own little PAC committee) jumping on any and every proposed or existing legislation to do with Sex Offenders. To make matter worse she seems to be the offical spokesperson for newspaper writers looking for a quick quote to "fill" in dead space on their articles. Its a hell of a note when your claim to fame is for your son getting arrested for trolling to watch infants getting raped on the internet. I read quite a few of Gail's "quotes" and funny thing though, she never quite volunteers the details of why she is so adamant about abolishing and or diminishing sex offender laws and restrictions.. gotta laugh actually, maybe she thinks people won't put two and two together or memories will fade? Thats ok, I have Gails efforts on MY RADAR and I will be right there to remind all the good folks "why Gail" is determined to diminish sex offender laws. I assume it will be because ALEX is going to be an anchor around the families neck for life (after he gets out of prison, that is). So much for that vacation home Gail? I think women like Gail Colletta and society would be better served if she started saving for that rural trailer her son is gonna have to find due to the residency restrictions Florida has in place (for good reason by the way) rather than try and push guys like her son into my airspace when he finally does slither out of incarceration.
Gail Colletta uses terms in her blogs like "non-violent" and "victimless" . Umm Gail I wonder if the Parents of those infants that were being videoed think your son's conviction was "non-violent or "victimless"???
Gail Colletta like other so-called" SO advocates" is doing what they do best ..Trying to make a Mink coat out of a Rats back" and in the process? She is undermining mine, yours and your neighbors families safety, security and well being of our children . For no other reason than her kid stuck his hand in the fire and now she blames the fire for his getting burned.
I have no tolerance for Sex offenders, I have even less for wives, mothers, girlfriends who preach their kid or family member "just got a raw deal" and then have the balls to be a big mouth to try and change laws that were written with the blood of many victims only because "those same laws" entangled her clearly disturbed kid!

Gail Colletta wouldnt know you existed if it wasnt for her sons conviction and I would bet she would throw you under the bus in a heartbeat under any other circumstance..my point being is Gails son's crime was atrocious to its core..no excuses for the behavor, no accidents of a "he said, she said" ..why would you align yourself with her? Val you seriously need to educate yourself. Your being ridiculous. In some of the sex offender cases the punishmnt does not fit the crime and its unjust. Gail is not saying that laws should not be in place for these criminals but she is simply saying you need to be smart about it. So I honestly think you should rethink your outlook on all of this.

Public registration is not Draconian: I remember when there was NO PUBLIC REGISTRATION one had to "request in writing the sex offenders in their zip code"by snail mail..now visualize my face when I opened up two weeks later a three page list of 64 offenders in a less than 30 block radius of my house. Valerie was NOT HAPPY. So you can "forget" going back to those days.
RESIDENCY RESTRICTIONS: In blue collar communities (not in Gail's neighborhood) the surplus of rental units is enormous. These same communities have new families, young families who can least afford a "hit" from one of these freaks and yet in one apartment building with twelve units I have 5 sex offenders living within feet of these young families? I dont think so..

Surely you remember him, but I digress..honey jail is jail its not suppose to be fun and there are always terms and conditions when securing bail.If your gonna appeal to the "system" for fair and unbiased treatment then you obviously havent heard the term the "Inmates are running the asylum" ..I hate to break it to you but if you think we have bad guys running thru our streets? You ought to count the ones with badges that get Paid to oversee the criminals.. excessive punishments? i have to say i agree with your points val.that said, i am a rso! i was 17 when i slept with my 15 yo girlfriend. im not saying it was right but the romeo laws were not retroactive so if you were convicted before the law changed it still stands.i feel like you do in that i would make myself look bad alighning with pedos and rapists to try to show people im not that bad.i have a son and two daughters and would not hesitate to brutally murder anyone who harmed them. iv had therapist and po.s tell me that my crime is no better than the 50 year old man who rips apart his granddaughter i beg to differ but i digress. i do think the registry is too far reaching and that only fuels the nuts who think multiple child rapist should be left alone.i agree with reform i think statutory offenders streakers sexters ect should be removed so we can truely focus on the real threats.i have put away 2 pedos since iv been on the registry once i was working at a rent a center and reposessed a computer upon inspection i found the hard drive to be full of filth involving him and a small child i copied the contents and delivered them to my po who handled it from there .the second time was a guy from my therapy sessions i saw at his restaraunt job following young boys into the bathroom.i contacted his po who immesiatly violated him.my point is that not all sex offenders looking for reform want to excuse pedos and if i have to remain on it for something that happened 13 years ago to keep true pedos on there so be it
My gut tells me that True Romeos need to be removed the registry "today" in all states. I have always been adamant about that. My gut tell me that there are "some" crimes that should have the registrant petition off the registry after walking the straight and narrow after say 10 years. I have always maintained that. What those "some crimes" are for smarter persons than myself to figure out. What I have zero tolerance for are offenders/their advocates who swear thats what their conviction was for when truth be told it was for something much more horrendous in the eyes of society. I have zero tolerance for "constitutional arguments" by freaks who have torn the insides out of child. They carry no weight with me and a defenseless child that used to "get off" has more rights than any guy who cant keep his sexual compulsions in check. I have zero tolernace for offenders/advocates who stand in a United front for no other reason than SO status. This aint my first Rodeo and for the loud mouths in RSOL who (do you no favors) by the way to try and go toe to toe with me is fruitless. True Romeos need to distance themselves from this motley crew as fast as possible, only then will they have the true support and backing from non registrants and the general public. But what would the majority RSOL members do then? They couldnt hide behind the Romeos anymore. i agree 100% . i maintain that i did wrong. and truth be told i got off easier than i could have given the law i was orig charged with statutory ( which i was guilty of) but pled to enticing. as youv said though there are too many true sickos out there hiding behind the few of us that are caught up in the overspray! as a registrant i can shed a little light to help. if someone claims to be a romeo there charges should be enticing a minor for indecent purposes, statutory rape, lewd and lacivious conduct,sexual assault on a person under 18,or sexual assault on a minor. child molestation is clearly defined as an act involving a child 12or under. aggravated child molestation involves 12 or under where the child is harmed ( ie insides ripped out as val puts it!)aggravated sexual assault it placing any thing other than your penis into vagina or anus of another either by force or on a child under 12 ( as a child is unable to consent)rape is defined as forced unwanted sex or any sex with anyone under 12 ( see above) sodomy is oral or anal sex and only one state still bans the act itself so if charged with it its either on a child or forced! aggravated sodomy is an act of sodomy that causes injury (anus ripped ect) or on a person under 12. if anyone tries to tell you they were a romeo or they were just flashing and their charges are what iv shown you THEY ARE LYING!!!!!! also look up the age vs conviction year... allow a few ( 1 to4 years for report arrest conviction ect if they are 40 and convicted 5 years ago it was not r&j! im so sick of seeing so. s whine about how their charge was consentual and wah wah wah then find out they ass raped their 5 yo son!!!! the problem is with these assholes is that true romeos are seldom believed due to the constant wolf cries we hear! reform will never happen and its the psycos at rsol we have to thank. they complain of how its wrong for everyone to be lumped together and yet advocate for romeos and pedos alike! i am a sex offender on the registry and i dont feel sorry for them! so how is anyone else going to?
In Florida I have those charges memorized. I can dissect a conviction and a creative google search can pretty much lay out in spades what a guy went down for. In another post of mine on this site, I had specific examples of registrants doing well, walking the straight and narrow and not having rocks thrown out them everytime they opened their front door. The reason being? We keep that neighborhood cleaned up and the existing offenders dont have to compete with any miscreant that slithers out on early release. Neighborhoods will not absorb any freak who can afford the rent. We dont tolerate it. Wont tolerate it. Let me put it as blunt as possible. I know whose world to turn upside down and I know who to give the benefit of the doubt with one eye always watching. RSOL is a collective of anything that crawls or slithers. They are pure "sport" for me at this juncture. I still havent read one post on one RSOL site that is focusing on Romeo Legislation, but they sure have their hand out for anything else..
Whats more pathetic? The women who go to the wall for these freaks. Regardless of conviction. I find that amazing. Its incredulous to me that these women will spend hours a day "advocating" for their convicts that decimated another families world. I will never wrap my head around that. I have alot higher expectations of the men in my world and who I expose my loved ones too. Not these women! They are "fixers" and lay their kids and relatives out on platters for these guys to feed off of. Some of the most vocal women in these RSOL groups have husbands,(prison) boyfriends and sons who "just made a mistake" ..when truth be told their crimes set humanities hair on fire. I find women (if thats what you want to call them) an embarrassment to the female species. Its been obvious to me for while bantering back and forth with these drama addicts that the only self esteem they can garner can come from a guy who lets his women fight for his name.
If I was an offender whose partner defended my actions for molesting my own or her 6 year old daughter? I would kiss her ass too. But these women interpret it as "love" Are you kidding me? From reading their tales of woe out of their own mouths by the way one is left shaking their heads and validating why we have a constant crop of new victims everyday. The mothers are compelled to stand by their sons, but that doesnt mean they are gonna get by minimizing the crime to me, the wives are too dependant on the husbands and figures its easier to forgive than have to come up with bill money every month, (my personal favorite of late) we keep him away from "triggers" that may prompt him to re-offend?? WTF? Got that one from not so bright "Lisa Johnson" Triggers? almost fell off my chair, if my families safety is dependant on the Lisa Johnson's of this world to watch "triggers" in her lovers behavor, we are truly screwed! Triggers..as I told her my definition of a "trigger" is alot different than hers..and alot cheaper by the way..
Seems Gail Colletta is up to her more devious endeavors by filing a Lawsuit against Seminole County, Florida Sheriff's office to abolish sex offender residency restrictions.
I thought it only prudent to inform every outlet I could that once these "restrictions" are lifted Seminole County will be the preferred nesting place for every deviant in the state. Along with any favorable ruling for FAC every bottom feeder in the country will be buying up vacant properties to set up a Sex offender Transitional housing facility that will de-value neighborhhood property values with the added risk of every Offender and Predator having unfettered access to any neighborhood in the county. The proverbial "Bucks for a Bed" is a nice little racket if want to get into it. Since the Collettas have some background in Property Management I am sure there is a "motive to their madness" with this lawsuit. Most of us realize that Gail has been working towards giving her deviant son a soft place to land once he gets out of Prison. Since I KNOW Gail doesn't have a philanthropic bone in her body, she will be able to kill a couple of birds with one stone if the suit is successful. Once I get done with Gail, she will probably be one of the most despised women in Florida, as well she should be.
