as a sex offender from Fl, I have had no problems with people. The only ones I have had problems with are people who get mad at me, mostly at work and want to expose me. They have been mostly older women, why I dont know. No one has asked me about my crime, even thought it says lewd and lascivious acts child under 16. But after reading the comments on here, and the brutality and hatred that some people feel, i wonder is it the crime i pled to, or is there some kind of anger inside the people that constantly post the hateful and unbelievable comments. I wonder if they would say it to me personally if given the chance, or is it just something that the internet brings out of these people. To give you a quick background of my charge...I am not guilty. Fl was one of the few states that felt they did not want to launch a blank website and the only people they could occupy the site with were people who were on probation at the timme. Most states did not sink to that level, but Fl did unfortunately and I was sucked up into the sex offender hysteria, even though it was not part of my plea agreement, and the word sex offender was not even invented yet by the media. When they launched the site in 1997, it said DANGER right above everyones head with 2 flashing sirens on each side. I could tell it was a witch hunt at that very moment and that i should have refused to register at that very time, even though the letter that was mailed to me said it would be a 3rd degree felony if i refused. My 2 years for appeal had passed and when i took it to court the case was dismissed by the judge. Recently maryland had ruled this act unconstitutional and had to remove everyone that were basically tricked and was not part of their plea deal. I am in the works to have this in Fl. My lawyer says If i am to be removed it will probably be "secretly" and will not be ruled unconstitutional, and that Fl has a reputation to uphold, but we will see.

""The only ones I have had problems with are people who get mad at me, mostly at work and want to expose me."""
So they know your status and ignore it, until you do something to piss them off??
Older women are more "aware" and "informed" of the issues with sex offenders, unlike younger ones. It would be the same thing if you were having a political debate. """
..I am not guilty. Fl was one of the few states that felt they did not want to launch a blank website""" Not very compelling, I haven't run into an offender yet who swears by all things holy they are "Not Guilty" and its probably a first for me to read the reason for Florida's registry is that they didn't want to launch a "blank website"?? I have always advocated for people to check their registry and check it often. I also have advocated people do their "homework" prior to turning an offenders world upside down. It doesn't do anyone anygood to put a hit (figuratively) on an offender if one doesn't know the "facts". By facts I don't mean the offenders version, but the legal version. Its not that difficult to dissect the statute(s) they were convicted of, do a little creative googling and determine who may or may not represent a danger to the community and or is flying on the straight and narrow. You may not agree with the whims or motives of any given state and their requirements for registration, but your "in the system" and the only people who genuinely have the power to help you are NOT other Offenders and or their groups. They are usually persons who will actually go out of their way because they believe enough in you to stick their neck out. Seems that ship has sailed with your first sentence alone. ANY offender who thinks the registry is a "witch-hunt" and the persons listed all got a raw deal isn't a person society will acknowledge or stand by. We know better. Is it perfect? No but its all we got.

Thanks for proving me right. I tried to give u a pity parlor story just to see how u responded. As I suspected, u employ techniques used by most cops and prosecutors. They are experts at taking what u tell them and twisting and molding it to make them look like someone's in denial or not taking responsibility. I consider prosecutors and cops that do that pure filth, as well as u... U are trash Valigator. I would love for u to try a hit on me...see how many friends u have as compared to I. Any intelligent person who knows the registry would know that Fl pads the registry for increased funds and jobs. If u can't see that they would not want to launch a blank website on Oct 1st 1997 then u are not smart at all. Why would every other law associated with the registry say "convicted on or after" but when they launched the website the statutes said "convicted on or after, or still on probation" . ? Do u understand that, or are u thinkin about that girl that gave u a second look in the store today? U are a waste Valigator.

There is a reason "life" is hard on you. Just like there is a reason for a registry..
