The government has been urged to set up a mechanism to register and track sex offenders in Malaysia.

In a joint statement here Friday, Pacos Trust, Women's Committee of BCCM BM, Karambunai Single Mothers Association and Sabah Women Organisation said it was about time the list be drawn up and made public and people like jailed student, Nur Fitri Azmeer Nordin must be registered on it. "It should be made known to our society that people on such a register are barred for life from working in occupations that put them in direct contact with children such as teachers, in nurseries, as security guards and others. "We still don't have such a sex offender registry, and we should set it up now as a matter of priority,"

Many psychiatrists have an intimate knowledge of criminality-one which has nothing to do with the professions involvement in the expert witness field.

  • Between $20 billion and $40 billion is defrauded by the American psychiatric industry in any given year.
  • At least 10% of psychiatrists admit to sexually abusing their patients: In America, that's at least 4,500 rapes and, internationally, more than 15,000 rapes.
  • Psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists have the dubious distinction of having laws specifically designed to curtail their tendency to commit sex crimes against those in their charge.
  • A 1992 study of Medicaid and Medicare insurance fraud in the U.S. showed psychiatry to have the worst track record of all medical disciplines.
A close inspection of their disastrous results, reveals that psychiatrists are the ""last people"""" who should be in charge of improving literacy, drug and criminal rehabilitation, or to be used as "experts" in our courts.

A convicted sex offender who raped a fellow group home resident said he felt safe to reoffend because the courts had treated him so leniently in the past.

According to a doctor quoted in a court ordered pre-sentence report, the accused knew what he did was wrong but "has a difficult time connecting his consequences to his actions as he sees himself as untouchable," a court heard Thursday.

The accused "did struggle with some understanding due to FASD, but he was also influenced by how many times he was arrested and convicted for sexual assault and received no lengthy prison terms," the report said. The accused "believed if he relapsed he would be given a light sentence and referred to residential treatment, be released ... and able to go back to his lifestyle in the community."

The overall perspective of the criminal behavior of illegal aliens is grim. In a 2007 Government Accountability Office study of 55,322 illegal aliens, analysts discovered that they were arrested at least a total of 459,614 times, averaging about eight arrests per illegal alien: 70 percent had between two and 10 arrests, and 26 percent (about 15,000) had 11 or more arrests. Drug or immigration offenses accounted for 45 percent of all offenses, and approximately 12 percent (over 6,600 illegal aliens) were arrested for violent offenses such as murder, robbery, assault, and sex-related crimes.
